I know this might be an edge case, but what about when someone doesn't send the extrinsic to return the crowdloan amount to crowdloaners?

Very small edge case as I think there would definitely be someone to do it. Anybody can ☺️

I think have a general Day Counter would be the best for the time being. Doesnt have to be specific to the month/year. Simply stated by Anton “35 days remain” would greatly help participants of crowdloans prepare and plan for their locked tokens when the unlocking comes.
